<ul><li>Venkatasamy Vignesh, a former Infosys software engineer, quit his job to take up farming in India but found better opportunities in Japan where he now works at a brinjal farm.</li><li>Chennai-based Nihon Edutech in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry trains skilled workers in Japanese language, culture, etiquette, and technical training to place them in Japan.</li><li>Vignesh, who used to earn close to Rs 40,000 a month at Infosys, now earns around Rs 80,000 after deducting taxes in Japan.</li><li>He intends to return to India and use his experience to teach others about better farming practices and introduce innovative farming techniques.</li></ul>
