Sols 4495-4497: Yawn, Perched, and Rollin’
- NASA’s Mars rover Curiosity captured an image of the upcoming "boxwork" structures using the ChemCam instrument.
- Curiosity had an issue with wheels being perched on layered sulfate rocks but continued with planned activities in the meantime.
- The Mastcam team collected 70 images to study the rippled, layered, and fractured rocks in the sulfate unit.
- Curiosity's arm is expected to resume operations next week.
