Stellantis and Zeta Energy have entered into a joint development agreement to develop lithium-sulfur EV batteries. The collaboration aims to create batteries with energy density comparable to lithium-ion technology, to be used in Stellantis vehicles by 2030.Lithium-sulfur technology offers potential benefits such as lighter battery packs, improved driving range, enhanced performance, and faster charging speeds.Zeta's lithium-sulfur battery design uses waste materials and reduces the reliance on expensive and scarce resources like cobalt and graphite.
