A recent survey by visual communication platform Canva reveals that 81% of India's hiring managers anticipate the obsolescence of text-based resumes within the next five years.
The study indicates that nearly half of the resumes reaching hiring managers contain either excessive text or extend to too many pages. While 62% of job seekers are content with their resume's appearance, the survey emphasizes that 7 in 10 hiring managers prefer interactive resumes with visual elements like images, graphics, and colors.
The findings highlight a growing preference for more engaging and visually appealing application materials in the evolving job market.
