Brussels Airlines, the flag carrier of Belgium, has secured the top spot in the AirHelp Score for 2024 with a remarkable score of 8.12 out of 10.
Tunisair was ranked the worst-performing airline for 2024, while JetBlue and Air Canada were among the 50 worst-rated airlines.
In addition to customer feedback, the report analyzed airlines' claim processing, on-time performance, and customer opinion to compose the rankings.
United and American Airlines, two US-based airlines, tied for third place, while Qatar Airways came in second with an impressive score of 8.11.
Austrian Airlines, the national airline of Austria, is known for its hospitality and was ranked sixth with a score of 7.89 out of 10 .
AirHelp hopes that these rankings would motivate airlines to continuously listen to passenger feedback since air travel demands surge to record levels.
Passengers can claim up to €600 in compensation for delayed or canceled flights through AirHelp's service.
Air Arabia, a low-cost airline based in the United Arab Emirates, ranked eighth with an AirHelp Score of 7.58 out of 10, making it the highest-ranked low-cost carrier in the study.
