Substack, the self-publishing platform for independent creators, is incorporating a TikTok-style video feed onto the app in preparation for a possible TikTok ban.
Users and creators on Substack can now scroll through the video feed from the Media tab, upload videos up to 10 minutes long, and make videos available for both subscribers and non-subscribers.
Substack aims to give creators the tools to share their work, connect with subscribers, and contribute to a network of independent voices.
This move comes after Substack began allowing creators to monetize their video content, expanding publishing capabilities and offering diverse income streams.
