Togo and Burkina Faso are preparing to sign a bilateral free roaming agreement to lower communication costs for travelers between the two countries.
Togo already has free-roaming agreements with Benin, Ghana, and Côte d’Ivoire.
The agreement will allow mobile users from both countries to make calls, send SMS, and use data services at local rates while roaming—eliminating costly international charges.
The free roaming pact brings benefits such as lower mobile bills, improved convenience, seamless connectivity, boost for tourism and trade, and enhanced regional integration.
