Creative Assembly has delayed the release of the Tides of Torment expansion for Total War: Warhammer 3 to later this year, as it did not meet the company's quality standards.
The decision to delay the DLC was made after recent playtesting revealed that it did not meet the standards set by previous releases.
The expansion was set to introduce a serpentine legendary lord and a new Norscan faction, but its delay will also affect the release of new details about these factions.
While updates for the game are expected in the coming months, the focus will return to Tides of Torment in September, likely accompanied by a significant new update between October and December.
