<ul><li>Tula Technology has updated its Dynamic Motor Drive (DMD) software to improve efficiency in electric vehicles (EVs) at low loads.</li><li>DMD eliminates reliance on rare earth elements and provides more efficiency at a lower cost.</li><li>By applying DMD to the rear axle of an EV equipped with internal permanent magnet motors, vehicle range increased by 0.6%, and applying DMD to both axles could increase range by 1.5%.</li><li>Tula has received interest from automakers to implement DMD on their platforms for battery-electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids.</li></ul>
