<ul><li>Authd is a new authentication daemon for Ubuntu that allows integration with cloud-based identity providers for both Ubuntu Desktop and Server.</li><li>Authd currently supports Microsoft Entra ID as an identity provider, with plans to introduce additional providers in the future.</li><li>The goal of Authd is to bring Ubuntu authentication to the cloud and improve the strength and confidence of authentication events.</li><li>Authd is based on the Oauth Device Authorization Grant and consists of an authentication daemon and identity brokers.</li></ul>
