The U.K.'s first full-sized autonomous bus service, known as AB1, has launched, marking a significant milestone for the autonomous technology sector.The AB1 service operates on a 14-mile route in Scotland, carrying up to 10,000 passengers per week and crossing the iconic Forth Road Bridge.The trial will continue until 2025, featuring a fleet of five autonomous buses traveling at speeds of up to 50 mph.The autonomous buses rely on sensors and AI, with a human safety driver and on-board staff to ensure passenger safety and address inquiries.
