Cameron John Wagenius, a former U.S. Army soldier, has pleaded guilty to hacking AT&T and Verizon and stealing phone records.
Wagenius faces a maximum fine of $250,000 and up to 10 years in prison for each of the two counts.
The charges against Wagenius are linked to the indictment of two other hackers involved in major data breaches against Snowflake and several other companies.
Wagenius and the other hackers stole data from AT&T, LendingTree, Santander Bank, Ticketmaster, and over 160 other companies.
