Vast's VR experience allows users to virtually visit Haven-1, set to be the first private sector space station launched by Vast using SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket and Crew Dragon spacecraft.
Vast, founded in 2021 by Jed McCaleb, plans to build a larger modular space station called Haven-2 by 2028, aiming to replace the ISS.
The Haven-1 VR experience offers a tour of the station with lead astronaut Andrew Feustel guiding users through the rendered version of the space station.
The ISS is expected to be decommissioned after 2030, and NASA plans to contract multiple commercial space stations as replacements.
The VR experience is available on Meta Horizon Store for Quest, Apple's App Store for Vision Pro, and Steam for PC VR.
For those interested in a more free-roaming VR space experience, Mission: ISS offers a simulation of the NASA space station and is available for free on Quest and Meta PC VR store.
