VEV partners with UK-based Maritime Transport to install high-powered electric truck chargers at three sites in the UK.
The 17 chargers are expected to be operational by the end of May and will support the introduction of electric HGVs into Maritime's fleet this summer.
Maritime Transport plans to expand charging infrastructure to nine more depots this year, with a total installed power of 16.5 MW to enable simultaneous charging for up to 98 electric trucks.
VEV is responsible for site design, infrastructure development, maintenance, and fleet analysis for the initial phase of the rollout, aiming towards widescale deployment of battery-electric vehicles.
