Vodafone Idea (Vi) has launched a new baggage protection service for international roaming customers.
The service, in partnership with Blue Ribbon Bags, will compensate users if their baggage is delayed or lost while travelling.
Vi postpaid users can activate Baggage Protection at an additional cost of Rs. 99 and file a report with the airline and Blue Ribbon Bags within 24 hours of landing.
If the baggage is not returned within four days, Blue Ribbon Bags will provide a compensation of Rs. 19,800 per bag, up to a maximum of two bags per user.
