<ul><li>IVRY Technologies, a company of IDEAL INDUSTRIES, INC., has launched a VR platform called VET (Virtual Electrical Training) to address the shortage of electricians in the United States.</li><li>Groove Jones was selected to develop this interactive training platform that simulates training for electrical apprentices on wiring homes and commercial premises.</li><li>The VET program guides users from basic tasks like installing a single-pole switch to more complex procedures, providing insights on troubleshooting techniques, tool usage, and industry code requirements.</li><li>After each lesson, apprentices get the chance to demonstrate their mastery of the skills learned through the VR training.</li></ul>
