Vein scans, hearing checks, and 3D microscope test were the main human research activities aboard the International Space Station to ensure the crew's health.
Flight Engineers conducted ultrasound scans on crew members, monitored their cardiovascular systems, and participated in computerized hearing exams.
Other activities included studying blood flow from the brain to the heart, operating an advanced biology microscope, lab maintenance, and monitoring station systems.
Commander Takuya Onishi, JAXA, controlled the biomedical activities while various Flight Engineers worked on different research studies and maintenance tasks aboard the station.
