Similarly, more queer people will graduate from science programs if they see science as a safe and welcoming career option.</li><li>Initiatives like displaying pronouns in communication, highlighting queer networks, attending local Pride events, and increasing queer representation in films, books, and TV series could help queer people feel more welcomed within science-based groups and industries.</li></ul>
