Xiaomi has introduced its latest Xiaomi 15S Pro flagship smartphone featuring the newly developed Xring O1 chipset, a breakthrough for the company in the chipset design arena.
The Xring O1 chip is Xiaomi's proprietary chipset featuring a ten-core CPU cluster with Cortex-X925 prime cores, Cortex-A725 performance cores, and Cortex-A520 efficiency cores, along with a 16-core ARM Immortalis-G925 GPU and a 6-core NPU rated at 44 TOPS.
Xring O1 outperformed Snapdragon 8 Elite in benchmarks, scoring over 3 million points on AnTuTu and achieving competitive scores in Geekbench 6 compared to Apple's A18 Pro.
The Xiaomi 15S Pro also features LPDDR5T RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, USB 3.2 Gen2 connectivity, Wi-Fi 7, Xiaomi ISP, a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED display, triple 50MP camera setup, 6,100mAh battery with 90W wired charging, running on Xiaomi HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, with pricing starting at CNY 5,499 ($763) for the 16/512GB variant.
