Xiaomi will unveil the Xiaomi 15S Pro smartphone and Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra tablet powered by the in-house Xring O1 chipset at an upcoming event.
Lei Jun, the CEO and founder of Xiaomi, confirmed the mass production of the Xring O1 chipset, which was developed after a CNY 13.5 billion investment by Xiaomi.
The Xring O1 chipset, built on the 3nm process, features a 10-core CPU with a top cluster reaching 3.90 GHz and an Immortalis-G925 GPU.
Benchmark results suggest that the Xring O1 may outperform the Snapdragon 8 Elite in the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in both single core and multiple core tasks.
