Xiaomi is set to release its latest clamshell foldable, the Mix Flip 2, separately from other upcoming Xiaomi hardware in June, emphasizing its standalone launch.
The Mix Flip 2 will feature Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a 6.85-inch OLED foldable display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, making it a flagship competitor in the foldable market.
The phone is rumored to have two 50MP cameras, a 5,100mAh battery with 67W wired and 50W wireless charging support, NFC, IR blaster, in-screen fingerprint reader, and IPX8 rating for water resistance.
Xiaomi is expected to launch the Mix Flip 2 in China first, followed by a global launch in July, coinciding with summer promotional campaigns. The Redmi K80 Ultra will remain China-exclusive.
