- Doctor burnout, administrative inefficiencies and overall worse care for patients are some of the repercussions of physicians being required to handle hours of work regarding electronic health records (EHRs) and coding and billing tasks daily.
- Co-founded by Nikhil Buduma '17 and Mike Ng MBA '16, Ambience Healthcare is embedded directly into EHRs, leveraged by clinicians in dozens of languages and more than 100 specialties and subspecialties in various healthcare settings.
- The founders say clinicians using Ambience save two to three hours per day on documentation, report lower levels of burnout, and develop higher-quality relationships with their patients.
- The co-founders of Ambience Healthcare studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where they met at the “t=0” celebration of entrepreneurship hosted by the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship.
