- Her innovative system identifies the passengers on the bus using AI facial recognition features and real-time alerts are sent to the drivers and conductors to take appropriate measures.
- Rishita has been awarded the Doctor APJ Abdul Kalam Ignite Mind Innovation & Creativity Award for her scientific innovation that has great potential to minimize miscarriages in women and injuries in people with disabilities.
- Rishita has performed on the main stage of Patha Utsav and is an accomplished Rubik's cube solver and is the youngest Grandmaster in Odisha.
- Additionally, she is a published author and is on the merit list of the ISRO project-making competition.
- The estimated cost of the system is Rs 4,000 and can come down to Rs 2,000 if mass-manufactured.
- Rishita represented Odisha for the Nationals for INSPIRE MANAK in New Delhi.
