- The situation points toward the fact that there has been very little advancement in the world of smartwatches and Wear OS.
- The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6, the Google Pixel Watch 2, the OnePlus Watch 2, and even Apple Watch Series 8 and 9 are all not that different from their predecessors.
- Smart rings and smart glasses are more technically exciting than a smartwatch at the moment.
- Because of the lack of innovation, wearable devices tend to gravitate towards the future instead of smartwatches.
- Smartwatch sales may suffer when the product is stale if Samsung's Galaxy Ring proves desirable.
- Smart glasses are rapidly evolving with more relevant and fun functionality to match the already vastly improved wearability.
- It's hard to say when smartwatch innovation can proceed, but until then, we may see more quirky designs.

- Huawei Watch Fit 3 has a 1.82-inch AMOLED screen, is 9.9mm thick, weighs 34 grams with the strap, and is 5ATM water-resistant.
- The fitness band operates Huawei’s own HarmonyOS 4.2 software instead of Google’s Wear OS, but the processor and memory capacity of the band are not specified.
- The Watch Fit 3 includes heart rate and blood oxygen sensors and tracks sleep and workouts accurately.
- Huawei Health app presents information clearly and contains various training plans centered around running.
- However, it lacks uniqueness in its looks and appears to be a rip-off of the Apple Watch.
