  • You might be unable to turn off iCloud Contacts due to a Screen Time passcode, network connection issues, system glitches, operating system bugs, or sign-in problems with your Apple Account.
  • If you still can’t turn off iCloud Contacts, some of the strategies that can help include force quitting settings app, checking your internet connection, restarting your iPhone or iPad, resetting iPhone or iPad network settings, and signing out of your Apple Account and then signing back in.
  • After successfully troubleshooting your iCloud Contacts issue, return to Screen Time settings and tap “Lock Screen Time Settings” to set a passcode. You can skip this step if you prefer not to set up a passcode.
  • The Screen Time passcode and restrictions on a non-child’s iPhone can lead to all sorts of irritating issues.
  • In general, Screen Time is a useful feature on kids' devices if parents want to set up restrictions for them.
