3 underrated Netflix movies you should watch this weekend (November 15-17)
- This weekend, here are three underrated movies on Netflix that are worth your time: Dracula Untold, Sea of Love, and Darkest Hour.
- Dracula Untold is less of a scary movie and more of an action-oriented origin tale retelling the early days of the most famous vampire of all time: Vlad the Impaler, otherwise known as Count Dracula.
- Sea of Love is a movie that stars Al Pacino who plays Frank Keller, a NYC cop at the end of his rope. His ennui is interrupted by a new case: a man has been brutally murdered and the only clues are a lipstick-smeared cigarette and an old record that was playing the 1959 song Sea of Love when the murder took place.
- Darkest Hour is a 2017 movie based on a crucial time period in the life of Winston Churchill, whose long, eventful life could fuel a dozen biopics. Joe Wright’s direction, the screenplay, and Kazu Hiro’s makeup transform Oldman into Churchill with one of the most convincing makeovers in cinema history.
- Dracula Untold, Sea of Love, and Darkest Hour movies are all streaming on Netflix.

Mike Tyson and Jake Paul are going to box live on Netflix. Here's how a heavyweight champion and a YouTuber-turned-boxer ended up fighting.
- Boxing Hall of Famer Mike Tyson will fight YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul live on Netflix on Friday, in the streamer's first-ever professional sports livestream.
- Netflix made several deals to get into live streaming of sports, including exclusive streaming rights for the WWE Raw in the US and a three-year deal with the NFL to livestream a selection of football games.
- Jake Paul and his older brother Logan Paul pivoted to boxing in 2018. Jake later went pro in 2020, and with the co-founding of Most Valuable Promotions, planned a fight with Tyson and got Netflix involved in November 2023.
- Tyson came out of retirement once in 2020 to fight and draw with Roy Jones Jr. in an event in which Jake Paul won his undercard match.
- Jake Paul later expressed his desire to fight Tyson publicly, resulting in the fight being sanctioned after he signed a deal with Netflix to livestream one of his boxing matches in November 2023.
- The fight was planned to be held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, in March 2024, but was delayed from July to November due to Tyson's health concerns.
- Before the Tyson and Jake's fight, Netflix's livestream will broadcast two undercard matches and a co-main event fight between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano.

- Lost Girls is based on a true and long-spanning unsolved crime, and stars Amy Ryan as Mari Gilbert, the mother of teenager Shannan Gilbert, who urges Long Island authorities to find her missing daughter.
- I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House is about a bedtime nurse who begins to suspect that the house she is working in is haunted. It’s a ghost story … or perhaps she is losing her mind.

The best of this month's new additions are Race and The World's Fastest Indian, two true stories that share some common elements with each other. The secret to their success is that the main characters overcome their anxieties, their personal roadblocks, and all other obstacles to achieve their goals. Jesse Owens came to Germany during the Nazi reign and proved that their racial superiority myths were just that in Race while Burt Munro in The World’s Fastest Indian traveled to the US to show off his motorcycle’s speed on an American racetrack.
- Other recommended feel-good movies include Matilda, about a young girl who fights for an education and uses her telekinetic powers to create the life she’s always wanted; Aloha, a breezy rom-com that follows a military contractor who falls in love with a spiritual young woman and has to deal with his ex-girlfriend resurfacing; and Won’t You Be My Neighbor?, a behind-the-scenes look into the beloved PBS children’s program Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.
