- The new watches show a 30 percent improvement in battery life and feature a speaker, a linear resonance actuator for stronger vibrations, and a touchscreen on the Core Time 2 for app interaction.
- Due to Apple iOS restrictions, the watches are limited in supporting features such as sending SMS or iMessage texts, but the creator supports EU efforts to open up iOS to third-party developers under the Digital Markets Act.
