Nvidia RTX 5080 review: it’s slower than the 4090

Nvidia's RTX 5080 graphics card falls well short of the previous RTX 4090 flagship, offering only 70% of its performance for the same $1,000 price tag.
The RTX 5080 is based on Nvidia's Blackwell architecture and features an increased power draw and 16GB of GDDR7 memory, but lacks the node advantage of previous models.
The card delivers an 18% generational increase over the RTX 4080 Super when tested across various games at 4K and performs best at 1440p and 1080p resolutions.
