Microsoft's hint about the release date for Windows 11 24H2 turned out to be a mistake.

However, Microsoft later updated the post to clarify that the mentioned dates were unrelated to Windows 11 24H2 availability.

Control Center and Lock Screen Controls for iOS 18: A Roundup of My Favorite Indie Apps

iOS and iPadOS 18 has introduced the ability to fully customize Control Center along with supporting controls of third-party applications.
Users can map third-party controls to the Action button on the iPhone 15 Pro or newer, and they can replace the two default controls at the bottom of Lock Screen.
Obscura, a popular camera app, now allows its control to replace the default Camera launcher. This has greatly impacted users’ photo-taking habits.
Chronicling, an everything tracker app, can now add its custom categories to Control Center, which can be accessed easily from anywhere in iOS, providing a huge usability improvement.
Longplay, a music player app, has added a Play Random Album control that quickly starts playing an album from a user's library in the background. This new control allows users to customize their app's control to filter the selection that the albums are picked from.
Control Mark is an exciting option for adding a specific website in Control Center. This app lets you turn any URL into a custom control.
Noir, one of the essential Safari extensions on all of Apple’s platforms, has a new control that lets you toggle the extension on and off from Control Center. For easier accessibility of this toggle, it can be opened from Control Center.
Shareshot, an app for adding a device frame to screenshots, added Frame Last Screenshot control that immediately opens the app and frame your last saved screenshot for customization.
Fantastical, Cardhop, and Remind Me Faster have respective new controls added to Control Center. Fantastical has a Create Event control and Cardhop has Add Contact, Scan Card, and Search controls. Remind Me Faster offers a new control for opening Remind Me Faster's task creation view.
Third-party controls easily turn an app’s core functionality into a quick toggle that can be accessed from anywhere on iOS. The question arises that how long until these controls can be added to the Home Screen for a more modular setup.

The production is happening at Phase 1 of TSMC's Fab 21 in Arizona.
The A16 chips are made using the same N4P process as the ones produced in Taiwan.
