- Waymo One, a self-driving car service owned by Alphabet, partnered with Uber to offer self-driving rides to the public in cities like Phoenix and Austin. Riders can enable autonomous cars in the Uber app and may get a Waymo vehicle randomly on UberX, Uber Green, Uber Comfort, or Uber Comfort Electric.

- Waymo operates at Level 4 autonomy, where the car drives itself in a limited area, while Level 5 autonomy allows cars to drive anywhere without human intervention. Waymo has raised $11 billion, surpassing other companies like GM's Cruise and Tesla in self-driving technology.
