OS Login Issue on GCP: “This region is not supported by the OS Login Sign API at this time.”

Some GCP regions or zones currently do not support the OS Login Sign API, leading to an INVALID_ARGUMENT error when trying to connect via gcloud.
Ways to address this issue include deploying VM instances in supported regions, disabling OS Login, adding SSH keys manually, or adding keys to the os-login profile.
For instances where the API isn't supported, users can temporarily disable OS Login and revert to traditional SSH access.
Alternatively, users can add an SSH key to their os-login profile and use regular SSH if locked to a specific region where OS Login is not fully supported.
