Fix the mess caused by Sign in with Apple and Hide My Email

  • The Sign in with Apple feature, which lets you log into third-party accounts using your Apple ID while keeping your personal info private, is so easy to use that I utilize it everywhere.
  • The Hide My Email service is similar, it creates a temporary email address that forwards to your real one.
  • To find your Sign in with Apple accounts, go to Settings > [your name] > Sign in with Apple.
  • To delete an account, tap Delete; to delete multiple accounts, swipe and tap Delete on all accounts to be removed.
  • You may entirely lose your access to that account if you delete it from Settings, unless you have an email address connected as well.
  • To find Hide My Email addresses, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Hide My Email.
  • You can manage your Hide My Email account by unchecking Forward To if it was generated from Sign in with Apple.
  • You can delete Hide My Email addresses by tapping Deactivate Email Address.
  • From the same screen in Settings, you can create a temporary email address by tapping + Create New Address and adding a label.
  • Hide My Email is perfect for creating public email addresses and starting new ones to avoid spam emails.
