To choose a gaming laptop, users should consider the GPU, which is most likely to affect cost: a laptop RTX 4080 is closer to the performance of a desktop RTX 4070. 1TB is also the minimum storage for gaming due to game sizes.
Asus TUF 15 has been marked down 25% down to $1,050 on Prime Day with an impressive RTX 4070 and a 15.6-inch screen that runs an FHD resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, which means fewer overall graphical compromises. Also Asus ROG Strix G16 has been marked down 5% to $1600 and comes with a lower-end RTX 4060 and a larger 16-inch screen.

Acer Predator Helios 18 features the powerful RTX 4090 under the hood, which means you’ll be able to play the latest games with the highest graphical settings. While that doesn’t come cheap, this $375 discount is making it worth considering if you want to get the best of the best. Lenovo Legion 7i is a great example of a loaded laptop with an RTX 4070, 1TB of storage, 16GB RAM and a large 16-inch screen.
Prime Day offers the perfect opportunity to purchase gaming laptops if you’ve been waiting for a great deal on one. Users should also check the Best Buy Prime Day laptop deals and Walmart Prime Day deals, besides these popular Prime Day gaming laptop deals.
To help with the choice of gaming laptops, Asus has released a range of Prime Day deals dependent on the GPU, RAM, and the latest tech. Mobile GPUs are one step down from desktop GPUs, so a laptop RTX 4080 is closer to the performance of a desktop RTX 4070, and 1TB is really the least you should go for, given game sizes these days.
They have exclusions including laptops that don't meet basic standards such as having 16GB of RAM or at least 512GB of storage, or those with older GPUs such as the RTX 20-series. They filter out laptops that don't meet standards and suggest laptops that can run the best PC games.

It is important to have a good amount of RAM while choosing a gaming laptop. Ideally, users want to aim for a minimum of 16GB. As for CPUs, both Intel and AMD are on par, although Intel is having a couple of issues with gaming on its latest 13th and 14th-generation CPUs.
Some of the other good deals on gaming laptops include limited time deal: Alienware wireless gaming keyboard at 30% off, HP Omen gaming PC is 32% off, and budget gaming laptop from Asus just got a $200 price cut.

The M4 MacBook Pro might have just leaked on YouTube

A Russian YouTuber recently claimed to have a genuine M4 MacBook Pro in his possession ahead of the device's official announcement.
Wylsacom recorded an unboxing video, showed off the laptop and its benchmarking scores when compared with previous Apple products.
The MacBook Pro allegedly contains an M4 chip, 16GB of memory, 512GB of storage, a 10-core CPU, and a 10-core GPU.
Several sources have stated that three Thunderbolt 4 ports will be available on the device.
The device is expected to arrive in October 2021 but has not been officially announced yet.
Wylsacom’s possession of an unreleased MacBook Pro from a company that’s obsessed with product security – despite no official ways to get one – might give pause for thought.
Apple is known to keep its products under wraps, so it is unsure how Wylsacom got hold of the MacBook Pro.
The leak calls into question Apple's product security, given the rarity of leaking functioning Apple products before their release.
However, the YouTube video is creating skepticism in the market, and experts are stating that it could be a hoax.
Apple's next line of MacBook Pros is expected to be announced later in October.

How to overclock your graphics card GPU

Overclocking GPUs can help improve your PC's 3D rendering ability. Proper knowledge of tools and steps is required to achieve best results.
Before starting, you should find out which graphics card you have and update its drivers. Download MSI Afterburner and a benchmark tool, like Unigine's Valley.
First, establish baselines for your system's standard clock speeds and temperatures, and run the Valley benchmark at maximum performance. Then, slowly increase clock speed by 10MHz, checking for visual artifacts each time.
Once you have found the limits for your core and memory clocks, you can start to bring them together to find a stable dual-maximum overclock. Perform real stability testing using a benchmark tool and keep a keen eye out for stability issues.
Overclocking GPUs involves pushing them harder than the manufacturer intended, which means that it does involve risks. Check your manufacturer's warranty policy to ensure that overclocking your card will not affect it.
Use tools like MSI Afterburner to overclock your GPU, and Unigine's Valley to benchmark its stability and performance. Regularly check your GPU temperature while overclocking.
Core voltage, or mV, can be increased to improve overclocking stability, but its adjustment must be done safely. Increasing voltages can reduce the lifespan of your graphics card and reduce card and system efficiency.
Desktop PC users are recommended to overclock their GPUs than laptops users as it can affect the temperature of GPU.
Once you have completed the overclocking procedure, run all your gaming benchmarks again to see the improvement in your system's performance.
