Updating MOERA Address for AD Connect Synchronized User in 2024

You can change the username and email address of a user in Microsoft 365 admin center, but not the MOERA address.
Convert the user to a cloud-only account to change the MOERA address.
Procedure is not officially supported by Microsoft
To ensure the user keeps Outlook and Teams license, assign a directly license
Move user to a non-sync OU in Active Directory
Restore the user from the recycle bin on the Azure Portal to set new password.
Change email address in Exchange admin center and MOERA address.
Change the username in Microsoft 365 admin center.
Change the attributes in Active Directory to match the user's cloud account.
Sync user back to Active Directory, then back to the syncing OU to restore sync and processing.

General Purpose SSD (gp2/gp3) offers cost-effective storage with low-latency and burstable IOPS.
Provisioned IOPS (PIOPS) SSD is for critical business applications that need a lot of IOPS.
Hard Disk Drives (HDD) volumes are used for infrequently accessed data with throughput up to 500MB/s and IOPS 250.

AI marketing is a con - especially when it comes to CPUs

Artificial intelligence is the buzzword these days for most of the tech companies, and they are stuffing its various iterations into their latest products, all in the aim of encouraging us to buy their hardware.
The latest generation of CPUs launched by the likes of AMD, Intel, etc. have AI slapped onto everything regardless of whether or not it’s actually adding anything useful to a product.
CPU performance, when it comes to AI, is insignificant and irrelevant. AI demands parallel processing performance like nothing else, and nothing does that better than a graphics card right now.
The vast majority of popular AI tools today require cloud computing to fully function, making it impossible to run them on a local machine.
The one significant exception to this rule is localized upscaling and super-sampling, such as Nvidia’s DLSS and Intel’s XeSS.
Lot of fuss is being made about AI, apart from Nvidia that has installed 100,000 Nvidia H100 GPUs in xAI’s latest AI training system.
AI adds a lot of potency, but outcomes are entirely dependent on how it’s manipulated, managed, and regulated.
AI performance is insignificant on a CPU, to the point of being seriously irrelevant.
Despite the hype surrounding AI, majority of the AI tools popular today require cloud computing to fully function on a machine.
Localized upscaling and super-sampling such as Nvidia’s DLSS and Intel’s XeSS are good examples of AI tools that can be run on a machine, but you're essentially out of luck if you want to use AI to enhance most other tasks such as Adobe’s Generative Fill or ChatGPT.

Your Current Backup Automation Is Missing the Key: Ansible, AWS S3, and Cron 🔑

Enhance your current backup automation process by automating critical files & app data's backup to AWS S3 using Ansible and set up Cron Jobs for scheduling.
Follow the given steps to install and configure the necessary components: AWS Account, AWS CLI, Ansible, Python and Boto3, Ansible Collections, and Cron.
You can verify your S3 Bucket to list and read objects, create S3 Bucket via AWS CLI, install Ansible on Linux Server, and add policy permissions for IAM user or role.
Create two playbooks: Backup to AWS S3 - compresses a directory, uploads the tarball to S3 bucket, and Restore from AWS S3 - downloads the backup files and restores to the initial directory location.
Manually run the playbooks before setting up a Cron job to ensure you get the expected results. Verify that the files are uploaded to and restored from AWS S3.
Finally, set up the Cron Job by opening the Crontab file for editing, adding a Cron job line for Ansible backup playbook, and verifying the update through the 'crontab -l' command.
Ensure that necessary permissions are set for both S3 bucket and local file system to avoid any access issues during the restore process.
