Windows 11 24H2 seems to be a massive fail – so Microsoft apparently working on 25H2 fills me with hope... and fear

Microsoft is working on new Windows 11 preview builds with "behind-the-scenes platform changes" to address bugs.
Rumors suggest that Microsoft is focusing on the 25H2 update for Windows 11 after the current 24H2 version.
Dev channel builds based on 24H2 will have platform changes leading towards 25H2, separate from Beta channel updates.
