How to check your laptop battery health

To check battery health, Windows makes it easy. You'll just need to generate a battery health report by using Windows Terminal or Windows PowerShell, and then find the report in your system files.
Generating a battery health report by using Windows Terminal helps in pulling raw data from the system. It shows information about PC, Installed Batteries, Design Capacity and Full Charge Capacity. Upcoming sections show detailed information regarding usage history, battery capacity history and battery life estimates.
If you are still running Windows 10, the process of generating a battery report is the same as Windows 11. However, you will be using Windows PowerShell instead.
To check laptop battery health using Pure Battery Analytics, download the app from Microsoft Store. Pure Battery Analytics is an app that helps to see Laptop’s battery health. Once the app is launched, pay attention to the Quick View section. You'll see Battery Design Capacity and the Full Charge.
Low Full Charge Capacity indicates an unhealthy laptop battery. Analytics Section provides more information on how much time is remaining on the battery and how the system is using it.
Keeping tabs on laptop's battery life is just one aspect of basic maintenance. Basic maintenance includes cleaning laptop keyboard and cleaning laptop fans every few months to keep the system cool.

Sequoia Security Scoped Bookmarks Bug

If you’re using Yoink on macOS Sequoia, an issue may occur where Yoink would not accept any files.
The bug is related to the "ScopedBookmarksAgent" and occurs on macOS 15.0 and 15.0.1.

Games such as Space Marine 2, Hellblade 2, Black Myth: Wukong, Frostpunk 2, Final Fantasy 16 (PC Port), Dragon’s Dogma 2, among others are not running well on Steam Deck.
Some of the games can be adjusted with tweaks to run at 30ish FPS on Steam Deck. But with many games becoming more complex and resource-intensive it's clear the device is aging.
When Valve launched Steam Deck in 2022 it was not the most powerful device around. While it still excels at running older titles and less demanding experiences, the era of being able to run most games on the device has come to an end.
This means Valve may need to consider releasing a more powerful version of the Steam Deck that can play bigger games without melting the battery down or forcing owners to turn every setting to low.
