Users prefer to use mobiles over desktops, making it essential for designers to create effective responsive websites and apps.
Declutter the design as it maximizes the potential of responsive websites and apps design; don't create designs overloaded with buttons and options that can overwhelm users.
Make tasks digestible, especially the most common tasks for users such as completing forms, ensuring that the form is as intuitive as possible.
Create button designs that are simple, follow common usage patterns, and view easily on small screens.
Use the keyboard efficiently and match it to the type of query and information, e.g., including the @ symbol when asking for email addresses.
The words used should be clear, easy to read, and understandable, providing direct instructions and avoiding jargon or unclear language.
Provide users with enough information when things go wrong, ensuring they can get back on track with ease, explaining why things went wrong and how they can be corrected.
It's essential to be wary of video backgrounds on websites and apps taking longer to load or not loading at all; resorts to still images if possible.
Consistency in design is important; designs should look and work in the same way across devices, maintaining the same fonts, color palette, imagery, and calls to action.
It's vital for designers to follow these eight rules when designing responsive websites or apps to alleviate user frustration and enhance user experience.

Dior wraps Bangkok concept store in golden replicas of HQ facade
