Arista Networks doubles down on CloudVision

Arista Networks has launched updates to its CloudVision, with which organisations can deal with their entire network, from data centres and campuses to cloud environments.
CloudVision unifies network management into a single, cloud-based platform. In particular, it prevents data silos from forming between managing different networks using different tools, technologies and operational models.
Arista says that CloudVision simplifies and reduces the headcount needed to operate the network, whilst security has also become a significant aspect of its offering.
The platform can support everything from data center operations and campus networks to cloud infrastructure and geographic mapping.
CloudVision is based on Arista’s Network Data Lake, an artificially intelligent data consolidation system that collects data from across the network and uses predictive insights to resolve potential issues before they escalate.
CloudVision's Ask AVA is a generative chatbot used to navigate the platform using natural language. It makes it easier for networks' non-expert users, such as helpdesk and novice administrators, to use the system.
Finally, CloudVision can enhance zero-trust security and multidomain segmentation, helping to maintain consistency across the network whilst simplifying the security management of hybrid environments.
Enterprises of every size are expected to benefit from the provision of a complete solution package, while the management of the cloud and use of artificial intelligence are anticipated to provide the next wave of disruptive opportunities.
CloudVision was launched in 2015 and extended beyond cloud service providers to include all small, medium and enterprise-sized companies.
When customers adopt Arista, CloudVision is automatically included in the overall solution.
