Volkswagen Begins Rollout of GenAI-Powered Virtual Assistant for Vehicle Owners

Volkswagen of America has partnered with Google Cloud to integrate a generative AI-powered virtual assistant into its myVW mobile app for vehicle owners.
The myVW Virtual Assistant is now available to owners of model year 2024 Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport vehicles.
Owners can access information specific to their vehicles, such as how to change a flat tire or the meaning of an indicator light.
The virtual assistant was developed using Google Cloud's Vertex AI and BigQuery and will be expanded to most model year 2020 and new Volkswagen vehicles in 2025.

The Quest 3 may undergo a significant pricing change

Meta is set to reveal the Meta Quest 3S at the Meta Connect 2024 event.
Leaked information suggests that Meta will discount both Meta Quest 3 models and stop production of the 128GB model in November.
There will be two models of the Quest 3S priced at around $300 for the 128GB version and $400 for the 256GB version.
The leaked prices are significantly lower than the current prices of the Quest 3 models.

Razer Black Widow V4 Pro 75% Wireless review: What was Razer thinking?

The Black Widow V4 Pro 75% is a good keyboard, but it also arrives at the obscene price of $300.
With a keyboard at this price, you'd expect a sublime typing experience, but Razer’s third-generation tactile switches are not great.
Although Razer made plenty of enthusiast choices under the hood, there are a lot of elements of the Black Widow V4 Pro that only a mainstream brand like Razer could pull off.
Razer always makes a big fuss about how great its RGB is, and for good reason. The Black Widow V4 Pro looks incredible.
The Black Widow V4 Pro comes with one major downside: battery life. With the OLED screen set to 50%, the RGB set to 70% with slow color cycling, and a 1,000Hz polling rate, the keyboard dies in as little as 10 hours.
The keyboard is mostly built out of plastic, short of a thin layer of aluminum that’s laid over the top.
Assuming you can settle for subpar battery life, the Black Widow V4 Pro 75% Wireless is a decent keyboard.
The Black Widow V4 Pro doesn’t have dedicated media keys, but it doesn’t need them. Razer wraps up a lot of functions that would normally be reserved for extra keys or special hotkeys into the Command Dial.
Don’t buy it right now. If you’re interested, wait until it goes on a steep sale — I wouldn’t spend more than $200 if you’re trying to get your money’s worth.
Razer includes a magnetic faux leather wrist rest that’s very comfortable to use.

The service flags text that may be erroneous, and fact-checks it by comparing the text with a source of truth. Microsoft's solution is a cross-referencing, copy-editor-esque service that highlights and rewrites hallucinations. However, experts say the system doesn't address the root cause of hallucinations.
