Apple's M4 Macs, including new MacBook Pros, a Mac mini, and an iMac, are expected to be launched in October.
According to Mark Gurman, most of these Macs are already shipping.
The lineup includes an entry-level MacBook Pro 14-inch, higher-end MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch models, a new iMac, and a revamped Mac mini.
The launch event is expected to highlight the AI capabilities of the M4 chips and Apple Intelligence.

Excel offers a Recommended PivotTables tool that takes a look at your data and offers a variety of options.
PivotTable Fields dialog box determines how your pivot table will work.
Individual selections in the dialog box include Fields, Filters, Columns, Rows, and Values.
Pivot tables let you manipulate data easily by selecting and removing fields.
To start a pivot table from scratch, go to Insert > PivotTable and manually select your data.
Invest in some learning to use pivot tables more effectively and discover Excel's other advanced features.

How to delete or hide chats in Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is a great workplace platform that features messaging, video conferencing, and file-sharing tools, but it can quickly become clogged with conversations
Individual chats within a conversation thread can be deleted by right-clicking on the message and selecting Delete.
There's no option to delete all messages in a conversation, but they can be hidden if you no longer need them.
Chats can also be deleted within the mobile app version of Teams by selecting the chat and then clicking Delete.
To hide a chat in Teams, select it and click on More options > Hide.
Chats can be muted if you want to stay included, but without getting notifications.
Edit a sent message by hovering over it and clicking Edit. Delete a message by hovering over it and selecting Delete.
Users can still use the Search field to look up words, phrases, and group members from the hidden chat.
Additionally, users can search for a conversation, select it, and click More options > Unhide to unhide the chat.

How to keep your Microsoft Teams status active

There are a number of ways to keep your Microsoft Teams status as active.
One of the ways is to set your User Presence to Available.
You can also install third-party apps like Caffeine on Windows or Amphetamine on Mac to keep Teams active.
If working on Windows, change the power settings so that your computer never goes to sleep.
For Mac, install an app called Amphetamine to keep your system from falling asleep for a set period of time.
CoPilot can also automatically assign User Presence statuses based on what you're doing.
Caffeine simulates a key press every 60 seconds which keeps the system awake and the Teams status active.
Manually setting your Teams status as 'Available' and keeping your computer active should work if you are near the computer.
There is no Microsoft Teams keylogger. So, your staying available settings won't help you if your boss spies on you.
When working within Teams, whatever you do, remember that it's possible for your bosses to monitor you.

Automating Monthly Data Deletion for Aurora MySQL with ECS, EventBridge, and DynamoDB
Manually deleting data in Aurora MySQL is highly inefficient, so a mechanism was implemented to automate the deletion process monthly using batch processing that runs daily.
Initially, EventBridge and Lambda were considered for handling the batch process, but Lambda's maximum timeout wasn't sufficient, so ECS on Fargate was used instead.
DynamoDB was chosen to track data deleted and progress made, as it offers a free tier for storing deletion progress.
Steps to implement include creating a DynamoDB table, a security group for ECS, an ECR repository and ECS task definition, and an EventBridge schedule.
Security group rules are configured to allow the ECS task to access Aurora and DynamoDB, and MySQL connection details are retrieved from environment variables.
The Python script for deleting records from operations table in Aurora MySQL for each month from April 2022 to May 2024 is also shared.
This solution overcomes limitations of Lambda and provides scalability and efficiency in data deletion for Aurora MySQL.
DynamoDB's free tier allows for cost-effective progress tracking, and this solution can be adapted to various use cases of large-scale data management.
Data deletion success was confirmed by checking the CloudWatch logs.
